Today I was asked a question.
Why are your reviews so short?
Well here is an answer for everyone.
When I am on a website and trying to figure out if I would like a book I look at reviews. Who doesn’t? But the long ones with quotes, recaps of the whole book, and pages of information….they bore me. I want a short yes this is a good book or no hated it. Then a couple reasons why they think that. Hence why mine are shorter.
That’s not to say I don’t love bloggers and reviewers who go all out. Those people are dedicated and super organized. They keep journals and detailed notes, and spend a lot of time on each post. But that’s just not me.
My reviews are short, sweet, and blunt.
