In Some Other Life by Jessica Brody
Plot: Kennedy knows she made the worst mistake of her life not going to Windsor Academy when she was accepted. She is sure if she just went there her life would be better and everything would be perfect. When she falls and hits her head she finds out what it would be like at Windsor. Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side and every choice has its own consequences.
Review: I started this book at least 3 times before I finally got around to reading the whole thing. After the first 3 chapters it finally got better but the way the author went around changing Kennedy’s life was just odd? I feel like this would be a high school required reading or something. Then you should write a paper on how a decision could have gone in a different direction. Which funnily enough was in the story ( no that’s not a word, but I like it). In the end it was happy and you thought about your decisions but beyond that I really wasn’t impressed.
Should you read this? Do you want to read a book that shows you two different lived based on one decision? How about one that really shows the bad and good sides but ends happily? Then you may enjoy this.
